Today on the Tooth Tour, our host is the incredible Dr. Lisa Grant, the driving force behind Grant Orthodontics located in Homewood, IL (@grant_ortho). It’s worth noting that Dr. Grant holds a special place in Dr. Nick’s journey, as she was the one who interviewed him for his very first job 8 years ago when he was contemplating a return to town after completing his orthodontic residency in the bustling city of New York. What’s even more remarkable is that Dr. Grant’s hospitality hasn’t wavered over the years. As evidenced by the warm welcome sign and the festive balloons they prepared for Dr. Nick (you can see them in the picture above), her support and guidance have been a constant presence, despite them never officially collaborating. Meeting with Dr. Grant in person was truly a delightful experience, as she is not just a generous friend but also a mentor. Spending time with her incredible team was equally enlightening, as each member had a wealth of knowledge to share with Dr. Nick. Their enthusiasm for their work is palpable from the very start of the day when they come together for their morning huddle cheer. This positive energy continues throughout the day in how they care for their patients and interact with one another, ultimately crafting beautiful smiles and satisfied customers. There is still so much more that Dr. Nick can glean from his time at Grant Ortho, and we’re confident that this won’t be the last Tooth Tour stop at their practice.
